HIGHER - PRESS RELEASE

VanderAa announce their latest single release “Higher” at Splendour in the Grass 2019. Higher will be released and available on Spotify and YouTube on 16th July 2019. 

Higher has evolved over the last 18 months to embody a unique blend of bass, keys, drums, djembe, guitar, vocals and euphoric rhythm and vibration incomparable to any other sound. Multi-instrumentalists, Aaron and Levi have utilised their expansive experience (over ten years) in the music industry to create a piece of music that will infuse any environment with an infectious frequency of joy and uplift. 

Working closely with producer Glenn Scott, the duo have managed to record and produce Higher in their JB Caravan whilst touring Australia. 

About the song

During VanderAa’s time in Melbourne in 2017/2018, a creative burst of inspiration birthed this song. It was through a deep meditation where Aaron was confronted with the powerful lyrics and the song transformed from his vision to their instruments. Together, brothers Aaron and Levi worked on the layers and differing elements that have made “Higher” the track it is today. The sound transcended during their tour up the west coast of Australia, feeling inspired by the energy of the land. Today, the song is a testament to their passion and love for music. 

VanderAa are set for their single release performance on the world stage at Splendour In The Grass 21st of July.
